How it works


It’s My Girlfriend’s will accept current fashions and accessories. Our criteria are that all items are in gently worn, resale condition. All garments must be clean or dry cleaned, no missing buttons,rips,or stained. Items should be ironed and on hangers. We will return your hangers to you during check in.

 

Our terms of the consignment contract are for 60 days. At the end of your contract you have the option to either pick up your unsold items or they will become the property of IMG. If you choose to pick up your items, it is your responsibility to pick up BEFORE your 60 day consignment expires, otherwise your items become the property of It's My Girlfriends Consignment Boutique.  

 

At It's My Girlfriend’s we make our best effort to merchandise, sell and care for all consignments. We will determine the price of your item and price it accordingly. We reserve the right to include the item(s) in special sale events and promotions.

 

If your item needs pressing, buttons replaced, sweaters de-pilled, there will be a $1 fee charged per item.To avoid this fee, items should come in in rack ready condition.

 

Payout checks will be cut at the request of the consignor AFTER  the 60 day contract and   your credit balance is $25.00 or more. After your  request, your check will be mailed directly to you. There is a $1.00 processing fee taken out of your payout.  Payouts are done Friday mornings, allow 10 days to receive your check. If you do not request a check, your funds will be deposited into your account and can be used to shop within the store.

 

 

No call... No show fee...


We are a small, independently owned and operated consignment and retail shop.  We do our best to accommodate our clients when they are making appointments to consign.  Unfortunately, we have had consigners either not show up for their appointment or not call to cancel.

Appointments
Making an appointment reserves the space for you and your consignment items.  Appointments must be made or changed over the phone, or in person.  We do not setup, cancel or change appointments via Facebook, messaging, email or text.

Cancellations / No-show
We require at least 24 hours, or more, notice for an appointment cancellation or change.  Or, if you do not show up for your appointment, we will charge a fee of $10. (We may excuse it if we feel there is a TRUE emergency, but that is at our discretion.)

Punctuality
We ask that you be punctual.  Please do not show up earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled time, and no more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your consignment appointment, you may need to reschedule.
